Warwick have opted for Ovangkol for the body of this bass. As a tonewood, you can expect a lot of similarities with the popular rosewood body. With Ovangkol you get a very wide spectrum, meaning all the frequencies are relatively balanced. However, this tonewood provides your tone with a slightly full response in the midrange of frequencies, and the high frequencies have a distinct brightness to them.
