From metal to jazz fusion, Kiko Loureiro nails it. His signature DiMarzio KIKO original pickups (in an HSH configuration) are designed to do it all.
The neck and bridge humbuckers have medium output and a balanced sound – similar to the PAF Pro, but with a bit more gain.
The single-coil in the middle position is warmer-sounding and more high-gain than a typical vintage single-coil, and it balances beautifully with the neck and bridge pickups.
