Almost all of the original Fender Custom Shop models that have been used for recording the album “SAMURAI SESSIONS vol.3 –Worlds Collide” since they were obtained in 2016 and pursued their ideals while further customizing them. MIYAVI’s tremendous trust has been gained so much that the recording and stage of the album can be done with this one. Based on this Custom Shop Telecaster, MIYAVI Telecaster was realized on the Made in Japan line under the supervision of the person himself.
The bridge is equipped with the MAVERICK SUPER VEE tremolo system, which is integrated with the pickup plate but has an arming function added to take advantage of the sharp sound peculiar to the Telecaster. With a 3-pickup configuration, the sustainer pickup that realizes the tone that can be said to be synonymous with the person himself is the neck, the American Vintage 65 Stratocaster single coil in the center, the bridge is compatible with fuzz, and the sound does not become too thin even in the high range Duncan The Little 59 humbucker is used.
Two switches are provided for the sustainer control. One is to switch the sustainer ON / OFF, and the other is to switch the sustainer mode (Fundamental / Harmonic * / Blend Switch).
The boldly customized MIYAVI Telecaster is the one and only Telecaster packed with features that support his playstyle and insatiable challenges.
* Since the pickup of the artist’s favorite sound is installed, the sustainer may not work well when using the harmonics mode.
