The Made in Japan Traditional series was derived by fusing Fender’s traditional instrument-making aesthetics with sophisticated Japanese craftsmanship. Fender’s orthodox DNA is revived with certain Made in Japan quality.
The 2023 Collection, MIJ Traditional 60s Jazz Bass®, Aged Color features a gloss-finished basswood body, vintage-style 20 frets, and a 9.5-inch-radius “U”-shaped maple neck for a classical performance unique to the Traditional series. The 4-saddle vintage-style bridge and the original pickups selected for the Traditional series deliver realistic and musical vintage tones.
This product reproduces the original color of Fender at the time, tanned over time. You can enjoy the color of this product that has become deeper with age. Solid guitar craftsmanship and flexible answers to player needs are reflected in this series.
